CHESOEN WARD COMRADES GROUP

We are a group of students from Chesoen Ward studying in various Tertiary institutions in Kenya. This group was initiated in the year 2017. It's main objective is to ensure every student within the ward gets access to education. Furthermore, we engage in charity activities, environmental conservancy, sports and mentorship programmes.

Our History

Most if not all students in universities and colleges goes through many perplexities and often needs the support of others. This often requires pooling of resources together, and in the quest to address these issues Chesoen ward comrades group came into being on the 29th December 2017. The first meeting that was held at Choronok Greenfield academy and was attended by 80 students resolve to form a big group that comprises of colleges and universities students drawn from across Chesoen ward. The objectives of the group include:
1. Students welfare
2. Access to County revolving fund
3. Attachment and internships
4. Corporate social responsibility which include; mentorship program, charitable works and environmental conservation.

On 12th January 2018 Chesoen ward comrades group was duly registered under the County department of social services under the leadership of our first patron, the late Evaline Lang’at(Chonjo Jiket) with the help of:

Subsequently, Engineer David Koskei assumed the role of our patron, overseeing our organization’s activities and providing support. Further, the Zonal representatives included:
